Listen to what 2008 me thought about the rise of digital cinemas, the tendency of cheaper filmaking technologies to displace more expensive ones, and the rise of “digital television” (what we’d call streaming today) and Hollywood taking amateur cream off the crop tell me I’m not a prophet.
