Sigils in the Sand

Sigil of Leviathan in the sand at Baker Beach

People ask what it’s like to be guided by demons and I tell them I’m just an unholy fool, led around by the cock By the devil. Going around, succumbing to the temptation I’m given. Taking my time and drawing sigils in the Sand, watching them be erased by the waves

Here I am at Baker Beach, with a sigil of Leviathan before me, naked in the sea and casting with my full power.

I asked Leviathan to awaken within the spirit of adventure and bless me with safety from harm in my travels and in return, everywhere I go, when I stand on the shore I leave a sigil in the sand and sing the enn of Leviathan “Jaden tasa ho’et naca Leviathan “

My recent wanderings make a fine example of how I am just saying yes to the temptations that I am provided when it comes to travel. Recently I climbed to the top of Dante’s View and looked out in wonder at the power of Leviathan.

This autumn I cast for rain and in His infinite perversity the demon sicked a hurricane on Los Angeles and this resulted in the temporary flooding of Badwater basin, restoring the ancient Salt Lake at the bottom of Death Valley.

They say when you pray for Rain, you must never complain when the gods wip up an LA hurricane. I logged 6000 vertical feet to leave a sigil of Leviathan at the lowest point in North America at Sunset in a totally unplanned spontaneous day trip to see a lake my patron created from a spell i cast, simply because it fell in my lap.

So, of course I appreciated the irony that when I flew out to Berkeley to help Bob work on this website a couple days later, I unexpectedly got the last window seat on the plane and we flew right over Lake Manley, the temporary lake at the bottom of Death Valley.

I leave sigils in the sand everywhere I go, from Florida to the Maldives, San Diego to Lake St Claire so it’s no surprise to see me flying away just after having gotten home.

Is it any wonder “Running On Empty” played on my way to the airport going to see Bob?

Return to New Zealand

This time next week I will have been to Queenstown, and left a sigil in the sand at 45° S on an ocean so empty that the opposite shore is Antarctica, and true to form the forecast calls for rain. Somehow I take the weather with me everywhere I go.

And soon I shall return to the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand and say the enn of Leviathan while looking out at White Island, which erupted not long after I drew His sigil on this very beach.

This is but a taste of what I’ve gotten from taking the sigil of Leviathan. I have known many powerful demons and I honor them all; but in this moment I am most grateful for the calm and clarity Leviathan has given me through all of my travels; beyond just the adventures themselves.

Jaden Tasa Ho’et Naca Leviathan. I am proud to bear His sigil for life. I wander wherever I am sent and I embrace the life of Adventure that Leviathan has brought me.
