Remembering Sir Steven

In August 2017, Fist Fest was held as a campout at Murphy’s Circle in Gurneville, CA. As a member of the setup team I had the honor of being attendant to original Fist Fest dungeon master Steven Lloyd Lamb.

Sir Steven was, by that time, gravely disabled from complications from HIV and needed considerable assistance getting across the uneven ground at the campsite, but still manifested a love of fisting and a determination to keep on playing whatever his physical troubles. So, of course, I fisted him on camera.

He had one of the tightest holes I ever got my hand all the way in, but I did. His perseverance and love of play inspired me and to this day I think of him every time I have to play through disability and pain.

Over the time I was attending him in Guerneville, we became fast friends, and I was pleased to see him at Parliament resort for Fist Fest the next few years after until he finally expired there after a good fisting and hot tub session at the end of the festival in 2021. Talk about a way to go.
